The simple yet stunning bateau necked, stiff satin gown epitomized a timeless minimal elegance. The long silk white veil featured detailing of the flora from 53 countries of the Commonwealth. Markle wore Queen Mary’s diamond bandeau tiara, which was loaned to her by the Queen.

Prince Harry – Prince Harry wore the regal frockcoat uniform of the Blues and Royals, one of the oldest regiments of the British army. He chose the uniform as the wedding dress and the Queen gave Prince Harry the permission to get married in his uniform. Harry wore a Pilots’ wings badge that he earned while flying helicopters for the British army.

Kate Middleton – In spite of having given birth to Prince Louis only a month ago, Kate Middleton looked gorgeous in her pale-yellow dress designed by Alexander McQueen, one of the royal family’s favourite designer. Kate wore a lemon hat designed by the Irish designer Philip Treacy.

Prince William – Prince William, like his brother, wore the frockcoat uniform of the Blues and Royals. Back in 2011, he had worn the same one to his own wedding too. The difference between his and Prince Harry’s uniform were the golden braids Prince William wore across his right shoulder.

Queen Elizabeth – The Queen arrived at her grandson’s wedding wearing the bright spring colours. She wore a printed silk flared dress in neon lime, lemon, purple and grey. The dress was accompanied by a neon lime coat and a lime hat adorned with purple flowers designed by Angela Kelly.

Oprah Winfrey – Oprah Winfrey had to undergo a last-minute wardrobe change in order to avoid a fashion faux pas at the royal wedding. Oprah Winfrey was one of the best dressed guests at the wedding. She wore a blush pink Stella McCartney dress with lace trim accompanied with a vintage Philip Treacy hat.

Priyanka Chopra – Priyanka Chopra arrived at the royal wedding dressed perfectly for the occasion in her lilac Vivienne Westwood suit. She paired her elegant suit with a Philip Treacy wide-brimmed hat in a darker lilac shade. Her Jimmy Choo heels also deserve a separate mention.

David and Victoria Beckham – David Beckham arrived at the royal wedding looking like royalty himself and that wasn’t surprising. This English football icon wore Kim Jones’s first official design for Dior Homme. It was a slim fit charcoal grey suit with modern cuts, which he styled with a gold pocket watch. Victoria Beckham wore one of her own designs and looked magnificent in that choice. She wore a caped navy dress with a matching hat and veil. To add a pop of colour, she paired her outfit with bright coral pumps.

George and Amal Clooney – Amal Clooney looked like the mellow sunshine for the summer wedding in her mustard yellow Stella McCartney dress. She wore a matching side-tipped fascinator hat that had a veil scattered with ochre-coloured crystals. George Clooney wore a light grey suit with a pale blue shirt. He paired it with a striped white and gold tie and pocket handkerchief.

Doria Ragland– The bride’s mother wore a pistachio green dress with floral detailing designed by Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim, the creative directors of Oscar de la Renta. Doria wore a matching summer coat with her dress and a small hat in a similar shade by Stephen Jones.

Pippa Middleton Matthews– Pippa Middleton Matthews showed up at the wedding in a pastel green and pink floral dress designed by the British designer The Fold. The floral print of the pure silk dress called ‘The Hepburn’ was hand painted in Italy. She paired a Jess Collett floral hat to go with the summery outfit.

Serena Williams– The tennis champ slayed the royal wedding with an elegant blush pink Versace dress and a matching fascinator. She paired it with gold accessories and gorgeous braids. Her husband, Alexis Ohanian accompanied her and looked dapper in his Tom Ford tux.
